Very simply, to encapsulate the valentines/chocolates/dog treats theme a chocolate box is filled with a mix of things that represent my anxious mind - stuff that should and shouldn’t be there. The introspection thoughts, thoughts of desire and thoughts of love rattle around the chocolate box of my mind. White hands try to get inside which represent Whiteness Ideology/ far right ideology which has its own strict and frankly dull rules (i.e no fatness, queerness, fluidity or colour) that contradict not only what I look like, but how I love and think.
