On the occasion of London Gallery Weekend, Guts Gallery is pleased to host the performance ‘A Whole Population Housed Inside a Single Body’ by exhibiting artist Anna-Lena Krause alongside Joshua Woolford, taking place at the gallery on Sunday June 2nd at 3 pm.
In the performance, Krause and Woolford feed images of their own faces into an AI programme that merges the two; they wear this screen as a mask throughout the performance while moving around and across one other.
The performance expands upon the roles of digital, technological and organic interfaces as mediators toward a shared existence, exploring how the boundaries between people become fluid, overlapping and creating new
bodies.
