WHEN SHIT HITS THE FAN : Gallery openings have been affected by the spread of coronavirus
Many art-related events, including Guts Gallery's, have either been cancelled or postponed, causing a large economic impact on artists and smaller galleries. We want to challenge this, putting our ethos of supporting underrepresented contemporary voices into action by navigating this set back through a digital Instagram exhibition.

Guts Award Announced on the 16th April
The Private View
A mass post of all exhibiting works will happen at 6 pm on the 26th March on the Guts Gallery Instagram account. We want you to engage with the works as you would in a physical space. This is why we are posting all artworks simultaneously, allowing you to like, comment, share and view the artwork in one time and space.
Each artist will vote for three fellow exhibiting artists they think deserve to win The Guts Gallery Prize. The artists with the most votes will win a solo exhibition at The Room Upstairs Gallery in London later this year. We want this method not only to determine the winner but allow open collaboration between the artists as they vote to support each other's practices. The winner will be announced on the 16th of April.
