This painting started off as an image of a stained glass rose window viewed from the inside of a church. The artist's eye was then painted over it, leaving part of the previous work uncovered. The top of the stained glass window now looks like a tear. The work is ambiguous in its form and also in its content. It represents a connection between faith-based belief and drug-induced forms of belief. The work in its content alludes to the use of psychedelic drugs as a sacrament and to concepts of ego dissolution and merging with the totality of the universe. This comes from Albie's strict catholic upbringing combined with his interest and years of study of entheogens as an adult.
