My reference photograph has been buried under layers of screens and flashes, one by one, distorting the original composition into a digital abstraction with varying points of focus and softness. The muted, low contrast color palette applied entirely with an airbrush is intended to create a soft harmony among the loose movement of the piece.
The lifeless inhabitant of this work's environment is wrapped in an ever-changing pile of wires that are pulled in and out of focus, until they are reduced to nothing but a tireless mess of gradients.
