This work depicts a figure dancing within a party environment, enveloped by a confetti explosion. The work deploys Impressionist style mark making in the style of Seurat. Here I have devised a digitally derived pointillist technique, which carries an aura of pixelated fuzziness much like early computer graphics. This approach is directed towards the transformation of the body and mind within the intensity of the dancing moment.

The figures, not 5 distinct but 1 replicated, make reference to the age of reproduction, beginning in the era of the printing press and now experienced through the procession of images on our digital screens. This feature speaks to the sequestration of individual experience within the technological age, where you never have to be truly alone but can neither be wholly present.
