Oliver-Bijan Daryoush (b. 1997 New York) is a British + Iranian artist, breathing between London, Paris and Los Angeles.
Growing up a late talker, he used drawing as an extension of the human language, translating themes and thoughts that swim in the river of his mind. Daryoush was heavily influenced by the Iranian carpets in every room of his childhood home and how each one to him represented another world of its own. Other themes that influence his work are themes of Iranian mythology, love, and a current feeling or thought, and finding a bridge that connects them all. Using psychedelic and saturated colours, he uses this to portray and translate the layers of life, the mind, and the human soul.
