Conversation with the Streets is a series of works I made during my final year at the Royal College of Art. It was a way of illustrating the way energy interacts within a space. With each work, I present a God-view analysis of space while interchanging the saviour or tool of governance within the area. It was focusing mainly on London, so I selected ‘Cashflow Quadrant’; the importance of money within a busy city, ‘Controlled Chaos’; the role of politics and conflict towards societal cohesion and ‘Constantly Everywhere Frequently Nowhere’, the result of having no direction within a space of multiple possibilities. I presented Cashflow Quadrant in my end-of-year presentation, with this presentation I was shortlisted for the Valarie Beston award and selected for the Travers Smith Art Program where it was on Loan for A Year.
