In Guts Gallery’s latest group exhibition, an all-female ensemble of artists explore the visual motifs of birthdays. Aptly titled (It’s My Party) I Can Cry If I Want To, the exhibition is a self-described ‘celebration of the grotesque’, whereby “women’s bodies are presented as transgressive, unbound, and open-ended”.
