A sculpture that makes whole the reality of my defense mechanism, the locking away of something that made me vulnerable so many years ago. Chained and padlocked in a trap door, an ode to the Deadites of Evil Dead, the creature reaches out seeking freedom. The title represents the conversation within the self - as desire awakens after a decade of slumber, and tries to climb up from the hole its lived in, the question remains - Will I let it back in?
