Liam Fallon

Overview

His practice focuses on the exploration of queer culture and the ways that materials and objects assist in this exploration.

Liam Fallon was born in Stoke-On-Trent, and lives and works in Manchester. His practice focuses on the exploration of queer culture and the ways that materials and objects assist in this exploration. The binary of private and public marks a particular point of interest with his most recent body of work exploring the sentimental values of love, desire and loss.

Through the acknowledgement and identification of sentimental objects, he looks to embrace the devalued objects of culture such as brick walls, belts and zips and by recreating them through traditional sculpture techniques, re-values and exalts them.
