Overview
Her paintings are full of tension as she tries to reflect on the internal struggles we face amidst the relentless worry, numbness and violent encounters of everyday existence.
Daisy Parris (b. 1993, Kent, UK) lives and works in London, UK. In her works, she primarily paints the psychological. A personal vernacular runs through her text-based and abstract work, stemming from all facets of her existence to date. Viewers are forced to wrestle with the psychological intimacy and emotion of her paintings, which take us fearlessly through her past to points of deep feeling and emotion.

To begin again we must shoulder each other, listen to each other, work together and collectively change together. As the newest generation of art collectors, we urge you to collect from this exhibition. The revenue made will support The Free Black University and the newest generation of artists.Read more

Gallery openings have been affected by the spread of coronavirus 26 Mar - 16 Apr 2020Many art-related events, including Guts Gallery's, have either been cancelled or postponed, causing a large economic impact on artists and smaller galleries.
